Conchshell is free software under the MIT licence, and grew out of r-shell, whose copyright notice is preserved. You may use it for anything, including commercially, and you may modify and redistribute it.
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It connects to machines that matter to you; test it against something that does not before you trust it with something that does.
The servers you connect to, the credentials you store and the master password or recovery code you keep. There is no reset: nobody, including the author, can open your vault for you.
Provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. Downloads are served over HTTPS and updates are cryptographically signed.
